Diana Kruze is a arbitrator, mediator, private judge, special master and discovery referee, focusing on complex technology, business, employment, and health care disputes.
Diana has served as an arbitrator in more than 250 cases, and has successfully resolved multi-million dollar cases around the world. She has extensive experience in intellectual property (trade secret, copyright and patent), licensing, biotech, pharmaceuticals, data breach/cybersecurity, telecommunications and satellite technology.
Prior to becoming an arbitrator, Diana was a full-time judicial officer with the California Superior Court, where she presided over a diverse array of civil cases, ranging from breach of contract to real estate disputes. As a former judicial officer, Diana has hands-on experience crafting well-reasoned legal opinions after careful consideration of all arguments and the governing law.
Diana also was a partner with an international AmLaw Top 50 firm, where she specialized in commercial litigation, intellectual property, and eDiscovery.
In recognition of her legal work, Diana has received numerous awards, including the American Arbitration Association’s Higginbotham Fellowship for outstanding ADR professionals, the Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40, the National Law Journal’s Trailblazers Award, and Lawyer Network’s International Arbitration & Mediation Expert of the Year.
